“We are thrilled to become a member of the MMFA, seeing the work the association has done so far on sustainability. Green solutions are the centrepiece of our work at Barlinek, and we look forward to collaborating with other industry leaders, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the development of new standards that will shape the future of the modular flooring industry”, said Barlinek’s CEO Wojciech Michałowski.
Barlinek is a Polish company known for its production of layered wooden floors. Aside from floorboards, the group also produces flooring for sporting facilities, skirting boards and wood biofuels. With an emphasis on innovation and sustainability, the company invests in modern technology to keep its products environmentally neutral. For its vinyl floors, the company uses materials free from phthalates, heavy metals and other harmful substances.
With the addition of Barlinek, the MMFA now has 31 ordinary members (producers of MMF flooring or their European representations), 29 associate members (supplier companies) and three supporting members (scientific institutes).
